BATTLE of the BANDS =)

Greetings!!

Yet again, it has indeed been awhile, but I haven't forgot you all!! This semester is very much a handful. Laid back professors are nice, but dangerous! DON'T GET USE TO IT!

Two weekends ago, I had the chance to join SAB (Student Activities Board) in Atlanta, Georgia for the Honda Battle of the Bands! Our Sound Machine did a wonderful job and we had a lovely time! From the bus ride, the mall, and parlaying downtown, it was a great weekend of bonding!

Tuesday, We had the honor of having the great Dr. Ben Carson come and share great words of wisdom amongst us. For those who are unfamiliar of Dr. Carson, he performed the first successful operation to separate Siamese twins, joined at the back of the head.He lead a 70-member surgical team through 22 hours of surgery. Carson was named by CNN and TIME magazine as one of the 20 most notable scientists and physicians,he holds more than 50 honorary degrees. It was great to see many of our sudents come out and be part of our Centennial and Black History Celebration!

In the mean time, continue to ask questions and participate in the NCCU's Class of 2014 FaceBook Group!
Im anxious to answer questions, be anxious to ask!! =D

Happy New Years!!!....15 days late!!!

Sooo...yeah, I'm totally 15 days late, but HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

You'll have to forgive me with last semester ending, family emergencies, and this semester beginning there has been no breaks what so ever! I promise to get better this semester. HOLD me to my word!!!

This semester is going smoothly! A tad bit tougher than last semester, but I can handle it!! Speaking of last semester, I finished with a GPA of 3.8!!! *NOT TO TOOT MY OWN HORN* but toot toot!!!!

The beginning of the semester is indeed a lot busier! Completing scholarship applications, the fafsa, and the CORE(Student Orientation Leader) application, I still haven't found my break!!!!

I have joined the NCCU's Official Class of 2014 group on Facebook! I have started answering several questions already! Continue to ask, if I don't have an answer, I'll find you one!!! Anxious to meet some of you already!!!

Until next time,
Bri

NATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGE!!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving Guyz!! =]

And again it has been quite awhile since I have blogged!! Blame it on class, Sorry!

I simply wanted to inform you of the greatttt National Student Exchange (NSE) Program we have here at NCCU! Last week, I attended one of the information sessions and became very interested.

In the NSE, you have the option of going to study anywhere in the Unites States and pay NCCU's tuiton!!! Most students go for the a year but there is an option for a semester only. This is a great experience to go and experience a different college life without the hassle of transferring and transferring back!!

Again, to keep a spontaneous college life, GET INVOLVED!!

until next time,
